I am back!!!

Caption: Talking to poet Blanca Castellon at the Granada Poetry Festival in Nicaragua, February 2010

After a long silence, I return to my web site. My life has been upside down in the last few months: I moved to a new house on the hills over Brentwood in Los Angeles, leaving my home in Santa Monica. I had a grand/daughter: Alia Sofia, the child of my oldest, Maryam; I am getting ready to move to Nicaragua in June, and writing, at last, a novel I have been brewing since the year 2000.
So everything is good but busy. I also traveled to Nicaragua in February for the Poetry Festival, a wonderful celebration of poetry and the word that you can enjoy at: www.festivalpoesianicaragua.com

In the next few days, I will be posting videos and articles I have written lately. Thank you for reading this.
All the best,
Gioconda
